He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Haugen and Elizabeth Haugen (Gjertson); his in-laws, Bernice Haugen, Harold Haugen, Gerdis Haugen, John, Gloria Haugen, Norris Anderson, Elliott Haugen, Alice and Gunther Walkusch; and his niece Julie Haugen.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen of Thompson; his sons, James (Tuesday) of Woodbury, MN and Jason (Laura) of Lakeville, MN; his grandsons, Alex, Joshua, Samuel and William; his siblings, Betty Anderson of Thompson, Donald Haugen (Liv) of Bergen and Ole Haugen of Los Angeles, CA; his sister-in-law Deb Haugen of Garner; and his close friends, Scott and Carmen Schroeder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and wonderful dear friends.
