He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dorenkamp; his father-in-law Duane Spinger; his brother-in-law Ron Springer; and his nephew Dustin Hoffman. He is survived by: his mother Janice Dorenkamp (Burma); his wife Jan Dorenkamp of Thornton, Iowa; his daughters, April Dorenkamp (Mick Hennick) and Tara Bojorquez (Abel); his grandchildren, Rylan Dorenkamp, Devin Hennick and Lexi Hennick; his mother-in-law Rose Springer; his siblings, Linda Waddingham (Allyn), Gary Dorenkamp (Beth), Alan Dorenkamp (Julie) and Lisa Hoffman (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Springer (Sharon) and Deb Lerdal (Terry). He is also survived by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
