She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Malone and Lorine Malone (Hollrah); her husband Raymond Earl Steinberg; and her siblings, Royce Malone and Audrey Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon McHugh (Mark) of Jefferson, Iowa, Devon Saunders of Plainfield, Illinois, Amber Moeller (Russell) of Tipton, Iowa and Clayton Malone Steinberg of Omaha, Nebraska.; and her grandchildren, Alex McHugh, Quinn Tillman (Matt), Madison Workman (Jeffrey), Kiley Saunders, Drew Moeller, Jake Saunders and Nate Moeller (Komachi).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fry Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Tipton, IA 52772). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established, with proceeds benefiting Friends of the Animals of Tipton—a fitting tribute to Carol's generous spirit and deep compassion.
