He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Edward and Francis "Bunny" Anne Jones (Hoffman); and his sisters, Audrey Delchow and Brenda Kinnucky. He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chuck" Jones, Chad Jones and Jacob Jones; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Caroline, Forest and Cam; his siblings, Dennis Jones (Deanna), Brad Jones and Kay Jones-Dircks (Joel); and his brother-in-law Jay Delchow. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summit Church (20523 220th St, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
