He is survived by : his wife Joyce Hennings of Rochester; and his children, Deanna Petersen (Mike) of Pella, Connie Byrnes (Don) of West Branch, Scott Flynn (Monica) of Marion and Donald Hennings, Jr. of Marion. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
