He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Reed and Ada Reed (Logel); his wife Beverly Bicknese; and his siblings, Fred Reed, Jr., Mary Hartley and Frances Boyd.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Reed (Judy) of Winchester and Brad Reed (Tracy) of McCormick; his granddaughter Tori Garrett (Blake) of San Francisco, California; and his sister Betty Zieman (Ted) of Naples, Florida..
