He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Lillian Miles (Painter) and Charles Cyrus Miles; his wife Thelma Miles; and his siblings, Betty Spurgeon, Doris Mason, Evelyn Joyce Grosvenor and Lyndel Miles.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Miles of Colfax, Mike Miles (Cindy) of Iowa City, Roger Miles (Brenda) of Brighton, Deborah Hanson (Raymond) of Hills, Donnie Miles (Michelle) of Tipton and Teresa Miles of Washington; and his siblings, Helen Claudio (Carlos), Sharon Miles, Earl Dwayne Miles and Larry Miles. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
