We are sad to announce that, on February 22, 2026, at the age of 96, Helen Fay Fankhauser (Tipton, Iowa), born in Clarence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph and Emma (Robinson); her husband Gerald Fankhauser; and her children, Jerry Fankhauser and Dixie Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Lindley of North Liberty, IA, Sandra Stramondo of Jupiter, FL, Janette Blakely (Dwayne) of Higginsville, MO, Jeffrey Fankhauser (Danielle) of Washington, IA and Wayne Fankhauser of Jupiter, FL.; and her sibling Helenâ. She is also survived by 7 Children, 22 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren, and 6 +1 “expected†Great-Great Grandchildren.
