He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Mullan and Robert R. Mullan. He is survived by: his wife Connie Mullan; his brother Mark Mullan; and his children, Shane Achenbach (Giovonnte Tate), Justin Mullan (Laura), Kellie Steffenson (Tom), Daniel McMurrin (Nicole) and Angela Rice (Justin). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (309 Reeder St, Mechanicsville, IA 52306). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tipton VFW (401 Lemon St, Tipton, IA 52772).
