Phyllis Powell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2024, at the age of 81, Phyllis Powell of Tipton, Iowa, born in Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Stretch and Juanita Stretch (Sparrow); and her daughter-in-law Shelly Anderson. She is survived by : her husband Larry Powell of Tipton; her children, Lori Knell (Charles) of Colfax, Brian Anderson (Shelly) of Colfax and Jeffrey Powell (Cyndi) of Coralville; her siblings, Bob Stretch of Bluffton and Carolyn Balzarini (Georgia) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Kayla, Katie Gibson, Tara Nihiser, Nick Anderson, Atticus, Oliver and Darby Powell; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Dalton, Lily, Ethan, Negan and Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Manor Nursing Home.
