It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Marvin Hein (Tipton, Iowa), born in Lowden, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Hein and Lois Hein; and his in-laws, Sylvan and Hulda Kleppe. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Marie Kleppe; his sons, Terry Hein of Bennett, Korry (Judi) and David (Sandy); his grandchildren, Kalina, Kameron, Kali, Kelsi, Aubri and Alisha; his great grandchildren, Renly, Adri, Benson, Maverick, Hunter, Connor and Brooklyn; his brothers, Larry Hein, Don Hein, Gary Hein and Dale Hein; and his brother-in-law Elgene Kleppe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund to Trinity Lutheran Church has been established in Dick's memory.
