He is survived by: his parents, Michael Scott and Alice Scott (Chorpening); his wife Christine Scott; his children, Kayla Scott (Daniel Kraft), Kyle Scott (Nicholas Guriani) and Adam Scott (Jyoti Arora); his sisters, Deb Scott (Jack Barnes) and Kris Smith (Mark Smith); and his in-laws, Don and Arlene Neuzil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in care of his wife, Chris Scott: 423 W. 9th Street, Tipton, Iowa 52772.
