Steven Preston Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Preston Brown of Tipton, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Brown (Brown Brothers Enterprises); and his son Steven Preston Brown Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Brown of West Liberty; his children, Martin Brown (Kessia) of West Liberty, Laurie Derby (Aaron) of North Liberty, Michelle Elizondo (Noel) of West Liberty, Kristi Brown (Agustine Flatcher) of Waukesha, WI and Eric Brown (Breann) of West Liberty; his grandchildren, Danni Brown, Blair Derby, Mason Derby, Noel J. Elizondo, Cameron Elizondo, Adrian Elizondo, Reyna Flatcher-Brown, Eleanor Brown and Valerie Brown; his sisters, Kathy Gervasi (Mark) of Tillamook, OR and Karen Spears (Robin) of Sheldon; his sister-in-law Diana Brown of West Liberty; his uncle Dave Mantor of Fairmount, IN; and his aunt Janice Christensen of Iowa City.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Liberty Community Center (1204 N Calhoun St, West Liberty, IA 52776). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the North Prairie Cemetery (1031 N Evans Ave, West Liberty, IA 52776).
