He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Albert and Jean Frances Wegener (Wilke); his brother Mark Wegener (Donna); his stepson Daniel Clausen; and his friend Cecil.
He is survived by: his wife Jani Wanzell of Tipton; his daughter Kathryn Franks (Jon); his grandchildren, Marley and Grace; and his sister Cathryn Wegener (Adrian). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
