He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bruns and Marlys Bruns (Steinburg); his brother Scott Bruns; his aunt Velida Bruns; his in-laws, Dick and Peggy Lallier; and his brother-in-law Dick Manske.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lallier; his children, Jenny Ostercamp (Zack) of Britt, Jaci Cox (Josh) of Grimes and Joni Hefley (Keith) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Bo Ostercamp, Ivy Ostercamp, Josiah Cox, Eli Cox, Abel Cox, Silas Cox, Shayden Hefley and Cooper Hefley; his brothers, Wayne Bruns (Kim) of Urbandale and Brian Bruns of St. Paul, MN; Linda Manske of Algona, Marlene Lallier of Humboldt and Todd Lallier (Mindy) of Baldwin City, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (110 340th St, Titonka, IA 50480). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
