With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanche L. Manfull of Toledo, Iowa, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin A. King and Frances King (Broders); her husband Floyd Manfull (Shorty); her siblings, Lona DeBondt, Raymond King, Lois Kasal and Robert King; her stepdaughter Bonnie Sawyer; her nephews, Kenneth King, Alan Lidtka and Alan Kasal; and her niece Karla King.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Bette Scheid of Toledo; her granddaughter Mandy Lekin (Jason) of Toledo; her great grandchildren, Taylor and Lane; her grandsons, Wesley Scheid of Louisiana and Barry Corder of Toledo; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Amberlin and Jace; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Skala, Joan Gibson and Joyce Manfull; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Bradshaw, Laura Schroeder, James King, Keith King, Connie Newman, Kathryn Rose, Steve King, Kevin King, Susan Stinson, Dale Kasal and Mark Kasal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (3628 US-63, Malcom, IA 50157).
A memorial fund will be established.
