He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yuska and Frances Yuska (Zmolek); his wife Sharon Kay Vesely; his siblings, Eleanor Novotny, Dorothy Adam, Helen Zmolek, Leona Krezek, Martha Untiedt, Maxine Yanda, Albina Krizek, Harry Yuska, Stanley Yuska, Melvin Yuska and Joseph Yuska; and his son-in-law Tim Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Michal Evans of Washington, IA, Lisa Yuska Rohach of Toledo, Scott Yuska (Kellie) of Urbandale and Merri Blocker (Jeff) of Waukee; his grandchildren, Tara Roberts (Nathan), Tyler Evans (Kara), Tenia Fogle (Travis), Nicole Ledvina (Travis), Nathan Yuska, Breana Yuska, Samantha Blocker (Brandon Purcell) and Dan Blocker (Emily Paul); his great grandchildren, Colton, Carson Roberts, Casen, Clayton Evans, Cora, Camden Fogle, Claire and Carver Ledvina; his siblings, Ron Yuska (Ruth) of Waterloo and Betty Krezek of Traer; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Sheda (Larry) of Traer and Sue Hardon of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tama Meskwaki Celebration Assembly of God Church (900 E 5th St, Tama, IA 52339). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund will be established.
