She was predeceased by: her parents, RLou Dixon and Alfred Chesley Dixon; her husband James W. Snyder; her sons, James Jr. and John Snyder; her grandson Ryan; and her siblings, Bessie, George, Jackie, Dean and Dale.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joni Hall (Snyder) of Council Bluffs and Mary Snyder of Toledo; her daughters-in-law, Jamie Snyder (Brezina) of Marshalltown and Kelly Snyder (Smith) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Dillon, Nathan of Ankeny and Jeanie Hall of Council Bluffs; and her sister-in-law Shirley Dixon of Cincinnati, OH.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
