She was predeceased by : her parents, Ellsworth Harrison and Evelyn Harrison (Treadway); her son-in-law Greg Newton; and her siblings, Monte Jo Harrison, Jack Norman and Shirley Knudson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Rhonda Benning (Merlin) of Waverly, JoLyn Newton of Hastings and Kim Vrbicek of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jodi Sharaan, Jessica Newton, Adam Newton (Tiffany), Benett Vrbicek and Elise Vrbicek; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Singh and Haylee Newton.
