With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice J. Himschoot in Traer, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janice leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Himschoot and Sylvia Himschoot; and her siblings, Cynthia, Alan, Steven (Jo Ann) and Brian (Deana).
She is survived by: her daughter Laura (Chris Bartels) of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Brysen, Braylen and Braxten. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
