She was predeceased by : her parents, Marie Pfalzgraf and Allen Pfalzgraf; her sister Karen Lamson; her son-in-law Jeff Nickel; her grandson Alex Nickel; and her nephew Tommy Burns.

She is survived by : her husband Red "Jerry" Hulme; her children, Tracy Nickel (Jeff), Misty Weida, Brandy Cooper and Jason Weida of Traer; and her siblings, Tom Pfalzgraf (Candace) of Manchester Iowa, Tim Pfalzgraf (Sue), Steve Pfalzgraf and JoAnn Davies (Bob) of Waterloo. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
