She is survived by: her children, Brian Whannel of Traer, Diane Cogan (Ken) of Cedar Rapids and Neil Whannel (Jenny) of Faribault, MN; her grandchildren, Paul Whannel (Brian), Nick Whannel (Alaina), Matt Whannel, Amy Thanongrit (Tony), Holly Whannel (Jack), Alyssa, Madeline and Sophie Sanders; her sister Judy Thierer (Bob) of Barrington, IL; her nephew Mark Thierer (Nasrin); and her niece Lisa Church (Jeff). She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
