It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert John Meier (Treynor, Iowa), who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Meier and Loretta Meier (Nielsen); and his brother Richard Meier. He is survived by: his wife Glenrose Meier; his daughter Gina; his son-in-law Taylor Walet; his son Robert John Meier II; his sister-in-law Barb Meier; his brother Ronald; his sister-in-law Roxanne Meier; his sister Marge Cooley; and his grandchildren, Brooke Dolan and Jack Dolan.

Memorials are suggested to Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor or Treynor Fire and Rescue.
