With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darryl D Schock of Tripoli, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Schock and Marie Schock (Suko); and his brother Kenneth Schock. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schock of Tripoli; his children, Cary Nickle (Doug) of Pierre, Scott Schock (Denise) of Readlyn and Tina Schock of Tripoli; his grandchildren, Danielle Nickle, Seth Nickle, Alex Schock, Kristin Hicok (Tyler), Kendrick Sommerfeldt (Dana) and Trevor Sommerfelt; his sisters, Donna Nitchke (Kenneth) of Ashley and Darla Schmuhl (Brian) of Jamestown; and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Gibbs (Harold), Dean O'Brien (Pam) and Wayne O'Brien (Susan). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scott Schock's Home (123 Highland Ave, Readlyn, IA 50668).
