He is survived by: his wife Jody of Tripoli; his children, Teri Rottinghaus (Tim) of Waterloo, Katie Boldt (Andrew) of Tripoli, Michael Wray of Tripoli, Jessi (Scott) and Rechkemmer of Oran; his grandchildren, Clayton, Nick, Evelyn, Eli, Dak, Breann (Tyler), Ashlynn, Logan, Liam, Jensen, Tate and Anna Beth; his mother Marlys Wray (Webrand) of Cedar Falls; and his sisters, Sandy Walters (Dan Scroggin) of Evansdale and Dawn DeBord (Sam) of Evansdale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
