With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Candy Dawson of Unionville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Candy Dawson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Wilbur and Shirley Francis Pettis Dawson. She is survived by: her daughters, Taylor Brown (Phillip) of Moulton, Iowa and Teagan Padget (Brandon) of Bloomfield, Iowa; her grandchildren, Shandy Padget, Kennis Padget, Willie Brown and Orvie Brown; her siblings, Jennifer Basinger (David) of Unionville, Timmy Dawson (Diane) of Lancaster, Brad Dawson (Teri Cortesio) of Huntsville and James Dawson (Missy) of Huntsville, Missouri; and her pet Johnny. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship and Refreshments.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to her family.
