He is survived by: his wife Lois Kraus; his children, John Jacobson (Lisa) of Center Point, Jerri Ann Ondrashek (Charles) of Center Point and Jason Jacobson of Kahoka, MO; his siblings, Ned Christopherson of Clearwater, MN, Mavis Dickerson (Ed) of Garrison and Peggy Schumacher of Crookston, MN; and his brother-in-law Robert Kraus of North Carolina. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
