He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Major; his children, Terence Major (Paul) of Johnston, Iowa, Leslie St (Lamar), Ronell Major (Jackie) of Hiram, Georgia. and Rhonda Echols of Lee Summit, Missouri.; and his siblings, Glen Whiteside (Phyllis) of Des Moines, Charles Floyd (Lucille) of Waukee, Virgil Bright (Rose) of Des Moines, Iowa. and Thelma Barnes of Raytown, Missouri.. He is also survived by several grandchildren that he was very fond of, as well as his great-great grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
