She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Boothby and Bernetta Ruth Boothby (Hass); her brother James Boothby; and her nephew Jacob Boothby. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Beckerdite; her brother John W. Boothby (Judy); her sister-in-law Rhonda Boothby; her children, Angela Kownacki, Amy Martinez (Ruben) and Anthony Kownacki (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Amanda Finley (Rick), Anthony Tucker (Chloe), Sophie Mae Van Zee, Daren Chambers (Logan), Abbigayle Boyer, Brady Mooers and Emma Kull (Collin); and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Adalynn, Owen, Niklaus, Charlie, Millie, Hiatt and Wallace.
A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Urbandale Chapel (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266).
