She is survived by: her children, Johanna Bobenhouse, Steve Mathews (Jan) of Urbandale, Heidie Bates (Don) of Council Bluffs and Naomi Waldo (Phil) of Boone; her brother Wayne Nickel of Guthrie Center, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Margene Nickel.
