It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Smith of Urbandale, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Verle and Vivian; and his daughter Leah. He is survived by: his wife Ginger; his siblings, Ken (Priscilla), Gary (Mary Jo) and Elaine; his stepsons, Jamie Flugge-Smith (Amy) and Jason Smith; his grandchildren, Jayden, James, Amina and Emree; and his nieces and nephews, Braden Clarke (Kelli), Danielle Emmert (Marc), Mandy Baker (Jeff), Meghan Jones (Nick), Michael Dingman and David Dingman.

Donations will go to the building fund in support of construction of a prayer garden.
