He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Russell (J. W.) and Letha Russell (Adelaide Daily); his stepmother Mabel Russell; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Lasche-Russell. He is survived by: his wife Pat Russell; his children, Daimon Russell, Alexa Bonomo (Brett), Matt Boddicker (Tetsuko), Lucas Boddicker (Heather) and Jessica Boddicker (Alex Ricard); his grandchildren, Rachel Lund (Stuart), Courtney Russell, Andrea Dickerson (Jimmy), Dylan Russell, Bella, Joey, Gia Bonomo, Jasmine Stephas (Kolton), Brooke Stephenson (Cole), Adam Boddicker, Brian Boddicker (Josie) and Gabe Bolanos; his great grandchildren, Trystan, Trent, Felicity, Thor, Peyton, Jeremiah and Olivia; and his siblings, Mary J. Russell and John Russell (Deblyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Jim's family for a future American flag memorial placement in an area park.
