She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Kuehl and Raymond Kuehl; her husband Ken Pitcher; her brother Kornell Kuehl; her siblings-in-law, Gisela Kuehl, Paul Smith, Darlene Murray and Hazel Pitcher; and her nephew Jerome Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Pitcher (Connie), Michelle Pals (Russ), Craig Pitcher (Deb) and Jill Walker (Eric); her grandchildren, Zechariah Pitcher, Moriah Gentner (Owen), Jayme Pals, Taylor Pals, Jaclyn Pitcher, Ashlyn Pitcher, Kendall Pitcher and Brittany Mahoney (Brad); her great grandchildren, Athena Gentner and Wyatt Mahoney; and her sister Marlene Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ankeny Baptist Church (2842 SW 3rd St, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Urbandale Baptist Church (6501 NW Aurora Ave., Urbandale, IA 50322).
