She is survived by: her husband Ronald Smith of Urbandale; her sons, Scott Royal (Trish) of Bennington, NE, Chris Smith (Mitzi) of Johnston, Craig Royal (Jan) of Carmel, IN and Jeff Royal (Lisa) of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren, Carrie Johnson (Eric), Dan Royal (Michal), Taylor Royal (Katie), Melanie Larsen (Justin), Cody Smith, Courtney Smith and Shelby Smith; and her sister Phyllis Spratt. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
