He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Krediet and Clara Krediet (DeVries); his wife DeanAuralee (Dee); his brother Gordon; and his sister-in-law Doris.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Schaid (Tim) of Apple Valley, CA., Lois Leister (Dale) of Fort Bragg, CA., Laura Meyer (Michael) of Urbandale, IA and Roger Kredit (Niki) of Sioux Center, IA; his grandchildren, Ken Schaid (Sarah), Phil Schaid (Andrea), Kimberley Schaid, Rachael Downey (Josh), Jennifer Davis (Ben), Claire VanderKooi (Jonah), Isaac Kredit, Jeremiah Kredit, Precious Kredit and Josiah Kredit; his great grandchild Calvin Schaid; and his sister-in-law MaryLou Kredit. He is also survived by niece, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Gideons International, Dakota Christian School or Platte Christian Reformed Church.
