Richard left this world on September 20, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Wilberg and Minnie Wilberg; and his siblings, Patricia Wilberg, Margery Reid (William Erle), Mary Peterson (James) and Harvey Norman Wilberg (Margaret).
He is survived by: his wife Joani; his daughters, Gretchen Gionet (Phil) and Karen Raney (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Conway (Pat), Jacob Gionet (Katie), Anna Raney and Sara Raney; his great grandchildren, Carter Conway, Elena Gionet, Noah Conway, Sophia Gionet, Madeleine Conway and Vivian Gionet; and his great-niece Maren Steensen (Scott). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
