It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glennis Lakner of Ute, Iowa, born in Smithland, Iowa, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Antone Thompson and Ida Thompson; and her husband Ronald J. Lakner. She is survived by : her children, Brian Lakner (Linda) of Belvidere, IL, Gloria Edmonds of Denver, CO and Ricky Lakner of Denison, IA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
