She is survived by : her husband Lawrence "Butch" James of Ute, IA; her children, Larry James (Jacque) of Neola, IA, Shane James (Christine) of Ute, IA and Amy Trucke (Garrett) of Soldier, IA; her grandchildren, Jacob James, Mandi Shire, Minnie Khol, Angelica Cerda-Wilkinson, Josie James, Derek James, Wyatt Trucke, Austin Trucke, Shelby James, Sidney Trucke and Levi Trucke; and her siblings, David Thompson of Onawa, IA, Steven Thompson (Laurie) of Sioux City, IA, Barbie Carstensen of Ute, IA and Jana Thompson of Mapleton, IA. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

“My Deepest Sympathies to my Uncle Butch and my cousins Larry, Shane and Amy. aunt Sue was a sweet lady and I will always remember her and what a great cook she was. I still have a few recipes of hers that she passed to my mom and they were passed to me that I made every holiday. She will be missed very much. I always loved when we would message on Facebook.
