With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Neppl (Vail, Iowa), born in Carroll, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her father Albert Eischeid; her husband Duane C. Neppl of Angel's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Clifford, Marvin Eischeid, Dolores Nees, Marian Bauer, Ruth Ann Brinks and Velma Bueltel.
She is survived by: her mother Frances Eischeid (Truhe); her children, Patricia Kruse (Kevin) of Callender, Carlene Hinds (Brad) of Norwalk, Chris Neppl (Renee) of Adel, Bryan Neppl (Amanda) and Albert Neppl (Gloria) of Polk City; her grandchildren, Mitch Kruse (Mandy), Erika Berry (Mike), Trisha Vanderpol (Matt), Travis Masten (Ashley), Trevor Masten (Danielle), Carson Hinds, Lucas Neppl, Camryn Mears, Ava Neppl, Ashlynn Neppl, Joshua Neppl, Cole Neppl and Collin Neppl; her great grandchildren, Claire Kruse, Emma Kruse, Luke Kruse, Evelyn Berry, Ada Berry, Reese Berry, Peyton Vanderpol, Avery Vanderpol, Birkley Masten, Beckham Masten, Baylor Masten, Charlotte Masten, Bodhi Masten and Annie Masten; her sisters, Lenora Gross (Vince) of Carroll, Verena Wittrock (Romen) of Carroll, Alberta Meiners of Dedham and Therese Schlichte (Dale) of Carroll; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Bueltel of Carroll, Clarence Neppl (Ladonna) of Colorado, Jean Neppl of Denison, Virginia Hoerle of Minnesota and Esther Doyle of Indiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church or Gracewell Nursing Facility.
