He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delbert, Agnes, Rozella Duncalf, Ray and Phyllis Scheel; and his father-in-law Bill Grieder.
He is survived by: his parents, Donald Duncalf and Marilyn Duncalf (Scheel) of Van Horne, IA; his wife Lindy of Van Horne, IA; his daughters, Lauren of Cedar Rapids, IA and Coley of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister Angie Cline (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his mother-in-law Katy Grieder of Keystone, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Denny Grieder (Mari) of Belle Plaine, IA, Dale "Beav" Grieder (Georgia) of Ankeny, IA, Denise Selken (David) of Keystone, IA and Deanna Becker (Steve) of Blairstown, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tara Hills Country Club (1846 70th St, Van Horne, IA 52346).
Memorials may be made to the Jim Duncalf Memorial and will be used to support various Van Horne community organizations.
