She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Funk. She is survived by: her children, Hazel Shepherd of Des Moines, IA, Tammy McCall of Indianola, IA, Ken Yaw (Carrie) of Des Moines, IA, Mary Adams of Indianola, IA, Laura Hamlin of Carlisle, IA and Travis (Jessica) of Fort Dodge, IA; and her brother James Jewell. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
