He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joseph McAllister Sr. and Alice Amelia McAllister (Roach); his wife Luana McAllister (Jubell); his siblings, Russell (Alice Lander), Harold "Bill" (Bonnie Lander) and Ruth (Robert "Bob" Young); his siblings-in-law, Carla (Eugene Lowman) and Gary Swanson; his stepson-in-law Roger Stacy; and his stepgranddaughter Heather Stacy-Howard.

He is survived by: his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Pappas-McAllister; his grandson Alexander Pappas-McAllister; his sister Mary Swanson; and his stepchildren, Leanne Dally and Doug Dally. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
