He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gunzenhauser and Ella Gunzenhauser (Feight); and his sisters, Faye Johns and Maxine Grunden. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gunzenhauser (Propst); his children, Bruce of Ames and Bonnie of Cleveland, Ohio.; and his friends, Dale and Darrell Goodhue.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Van Meter United Methodist Church (100 Hazel St, Van Meter, IA 50261). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Booneville Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Van Meter United Methodist Church or to Simpson College.
