He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robu and Jeanette Robu; and his brother Kenny Robu. He is survived by: his wife Karen Robu; his stepson Ryan Stivers (Beatriz Solis); his grandchildren, Finn, Leo and Leah; his siblings, Vicky Goble (Mike), Debbie Auer (Jim) and Dave Robu; his stepmother Patricia Robu; and his aunt Kay Bannick (Gary).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Iles Jordan Creek Chapel (7150 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266).
