She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Dale Bomar and Myrtle Janice Bomar (Flanery); and her grandparents, Olin, Evelyn Bomar (Rinard), Cleavie and Rebecca Flanery (Ford).
She is survived by: her sister Rachel Backstrom (Alan); and her sibling's children, Emma Backstrom and Nicholas Backstrom.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
