She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Thys of Victor and Andy Johnson of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Andrew, Megan, Amy Thys and Abby Johnson; and her sister Marilyn Read of Indianola. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
