It is with sadness that the passing of Katie Brown of Victor, Iowa is shared. Katie, born on November 11, 1934, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Alma Brown (Begunck); her brothers, Bill and Tom Brown; her brother-in-law Ed McAdam; and her nephew Bruce Brown.
She is survived by: her sister Margery McAdam of Victor; and her nieces and nephews, Gary Brown (Amy) of Atlanta, Georgia, Donna Gorsch (Mick) of Millersburg, Betsy Hilt (Mitchell) of Nashville, Brian Brown (Denise) of Hiawatha, Chris Koehn (Kevin) of North English and Kelley Cox (Bud) of Grinnell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Victor (808 4th St, Victor, IA 52347). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ohio Cemetery (2097 G Ave, Marengo, IA 52301).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Safe Haven of Iowa County (animal shelter) and mailed in c/o Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
