Marlene Read Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Read of Victor, Iowa, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marlene Read to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Fruendt and Luella Fruendt (Meyer); her daughter Michelle Read; her sister Audrey Blunck; and her parents-in-law, Marvin Read and Perah Read.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Read of Victor; her daughters, Traci Boston (Will) and Kelli Read (Colton Wersinger); her grandchildren, Drew Boston, Perah Boston, Ellie Boston, Otto Wersinger and Waylon Wersinger; her siblings, David Fruendt (Cynthia) and JoAnn Ketterling (Gene); and her brothers-in-law, Donald Blunck and Allen Read (Marilyn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
