He was predeceased by: his father Louis Ruzek; and his brother-in-law Gregg Piper. He is survived by: his mother Vernetta Ruzek (Crew) of West Branch; his wife Margaret Johnson of Montezuma; and his siblings, Greg Ruzek (Jen) of Victor, Brenda Piper of Iowa City and Lisa Slach (Scott) of Riverside.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home (201 Pedersen St, West Branch, IA 52358).
