She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet O'Toole and Dorothea O'Toole; her former husband Leland Waymire of Malachi's Church; her siblings, Emmett O'Toole, Patricia Butler, Mike O'Toole, Dorothy McKenney and James O'Toole; her son-in-law Reno Mueller; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth Waymire and Annie Waymire.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Smith of Villisca, Iowa; her children, James Waymire, Leland Waymire (Kelly), Kathleen Fisher (Will), Diane Mueller, Dorothy Berning (Greg), Stephen Waymire (Anne) and Patrick Waymire (Lori); and her stepchildren, Shelby Grabinski (Tim), Bradford Smith, Creighton Smith and Stewart Smith (Katrina). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Villisca, Iowa.
